Lina Kühn – Head of Education
Lina Kühn is responsible for the educational direction and development of the personally guided bilingual learning programme. Its priorities are understandable foundations, personal feedback and the confidence to ask original questions.
German and English have equal value. Both languages are used for communication, research, subject learning and access to different perspectives.
Steffen Kühn – Commercial Director
Steffen Kühn is responsible for the commercial and organisational foundation of Die Schulalternative. A reliable framework allows teachers and students to focus on their shared learning process.
This includes a clear weekly rhythm, dedicated contacts and an online school model accessible to families in Germany and around the world.
What Die Schulalternative stands for
Die Schulalternative is designed for students aged 10 to 18. Its learning stages broadly correspond to German Gymnasium grades 5 to 12. Twelve live lessons per week, small groups and dedicated subject teachers combine orientation with room for independent learning paths.
Artificial intelligence is neither ignored nor used as a shortcut to finished answers. Students learn to use AI purposefully, verify claims, compare sources and justify decisions of their own.
